Have you ever realized that we human beings
can learn telepathy? Telepathy can be defined as the
ability to sense or transmit feelings over a long
distance and to do it without words or even any of
the five recognized senses. This is essentially mind
to mind communication that is instantaneous even
when you are far away.
Many people believe that they cannot learn
telepathy, but they are wrong. Chances are, you have
even done it before, and not know what was
happening? Have you ever thought about someone that
you have not spoken to or even thought of until that
moment, and then just a little bit later you get a
call or a letter from them? You may not have spoken
in ages, but suddenly, like magic, there they are!
What happened in this case was that one or the other
of you telepathically contacted the other person,
and emotions and thoughts were transmitted between
you.
That telepathic contact is what caused the other
person to decide to use more ordinary means of
getting in touch. Perhaps you thought about them
first, and they acted on the feelings they received
from you. Maybe they signaled to you and chose to
make contact because of the emotions and thoughts
they received. Perhaps you even detected their
preparations to get in touch with you before the
contact ever happened.
Sympathetic pain is another form of emotional mental
telepathy, like feeling another person's pain as if
it were your own. For example, you may experience a
pain in your arm after witnessing someone close to
you breaks their arm. Even though you know its fine,
it is still an uncomfortable feeling. Overwhelming
emotion, such as joy, grief, or depression, may
cause you to feel the same emotion inside you, if it
is somebody close to you. Long distance empathy or
emotional mental telepathy is where a person
suddenly knows or feels that someone close to them
is in danger or is in pain, even though they are the
person may be far away.
Some people who are working with animals have used
various telepathy techniques, which is helpful in
observing, interpreting and predicting animal
behaviors. Among mammals, the practice of this
discipline was believed to be used by whales in
communicating with other whales, sending out
messages to other whales of distant locations.
While humans in the West consider this to be a
phenomenon, there are still primitive tribes around
today who naturally use the power of telepathy. This
way they can communicate with one another silently
and secretly.
